DualyzeAI (the "Extension") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information the Extension collects and how it is handled.

The Extension collects and uses the following information:
- Gemini API Key: The API key you enter in the settings page is stored only in your browser's
chrome.storage.local. It is never sent to any external server. - Webpage URLs and Text Content: When you use the AI analysis feature, the URLs and text content of the pages being compared are sent to the Google Gemini API solely to generate analysis results.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The Extension does not collect:
- Personally identifiable information such as your name or email address
- Browsing history or search history
- Location data
- Payment or credit card information
- Analytics or behavioral tracking data
3. How We Use Information
Any information collected is used solely to provide the AI analysis feature. It is never used for marketing, advertising, or sold to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
The Extension uses the Google Gemini API to perform AI analysis. The URLs and text content of analyzed pages are sent to Google's servers. For details on how Google handles data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
No data is shared with any other third parties.
5. Data Storage and Deletion
Your API key and settings are stored only in your browser's local storage. Uninstalling the Extension will permanently delete all stored data.
6. Security
Your API key is stored in chrome.storage.local and cannot be accessed directly from outside your browser. Protection against parties with physical access to your device depends on your browser's and operating system's security features.
7. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Any significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
